Hey guys, my kid and I decided to hit the stillaguamish today out in granite. We wanted to get out while the weather was decent. Didn't stay long just a quick bucket while it was light out and put the sluice box on a test drive. Overall, it was ok but not great. The dirt kept building up in between the riffles and not pushing off the back of the box. The current was pretty strong too. It was my 1st time using the box so there is going to be a lot of trial and errors of a home made box. Next time I will have more time to mess around with it.
On the plus side we did get a small bucket of pay dirt to bring home. Hopefully there will be some flakes in it. I'll post more when we get done.

Update: nothing found. Maybe next time.
