These I took yesterday going to a quarry in Wyoming. It's where the Union Pacific RR gets much of the track ballast rock. It take a lot of drilling, blasting and crushing of rock to meet the demand, as the train comes right into the quarry to load up more rock. The only resident in the town of Granite is clearly a collector of relics one could pick up around there. It was a rare day in this area with no wind and warm sunny blue skies. Heck it was even green as far as the eye could see across the high prairies.
