This is probably my best day of hunting since I began almost 3 years ago. About half the signals were relics and the other half was aluminum. It's always a good day if the amount of military buttons is the same as the amount of flat buttons. 4 military buttons! 2 General Service eagles, my 1st SC button (postwar 3 piece), and my 2nd eagle I (this time with gilt left)! Also got the half reale laying on top of the ground in the plowed field! How crazy?! Also got my 1st Williams Cleaner, my 1st and 2nd Washington Arsenal star base minie balls, my first kepi buckle and my 1st King George the 2nd half penny!

It's been hunted countless times! Just got plowed the other day. We have estimated that hundreds of buttons have come from that site. A couple plates too!

Man, buttons, silver, kepi buckle . . . you are killin' it man . . . !

grrrrrr, That makes me soo jealous...

Excellent hunt. Nice variety.

Very well done. Congrats on all of the finds. Excellent variety too.

Great hunt.....amazing what a plow will do for a "hunted out " spot.

Love all these old finds! Can't find anything that old in the west. Congrats on a great hunt. :occasion14:

Great saves. Thanks so much for sharing. Keeps me pumped

Thanks guys! It was a great day for me!

Nice variety right there.... too bad that SC had to be smashed up a bit but at least you were able to recover and ID it. :)
