Went down to the Banana Belt in Chaffee County today to get away from the Daily Blues. Nice weather before the next snow comes in tonight. Interesting rock near Mt. Princeton that has always caught my eye so finally walked out and looked it over. It used to lay flat but was put into an upright position many years ago by maybe treasure hunters or treasure hiders, quien sabe?

Great shot of Princeton with the Chalk Cliffs. Use to be the locals could sit in the hot springs free of charge, but I'm thinking that's not the case anymore.

That is an interesting rock to bad it got moved it might have had a lot to say.

Is that the little mine-site the one up on Poncha Pass?

Yep, north of the pass, tr. Still haven't figured out what they mined there for sure.
