Had a good end of year hunt with some buddies of mine. Got some round balls, trade silver tube bead..ect. but my best find is this escutcheon plate with crown and GR engraved! I can not find a match online to this one. Any info is always appreciated. Its a Seneca site that although not documented in "HISstorical" text Rev war action also could have and very like took place at the site also. The stack of arms piece looks early to me could be wrong these piece are from the same site but not the same day 20201227_174845.webp20201230_221456.webp20201230_221548.webp20201230_221631.webp20201230_221712.webp20201230_223053.webp20201230_222958.webp20201230_222859.webp

Beautiful gun part and look at that nice patina!! Amazing stuff.

100_0063.webp Here's one I found on a Fur Trade era Ioway Indian village site. ( circa 1765- 1810 ) I've only ever seen one other. This one has the Crown & "GR", also.

Super finds..I dont think my firearms part finds are that old..

What is the triangular piece of metal with a ring on it? Could it be like a dog tag used today?

It's an nose or earring or hung on clothing. mckenney-hall-seneca-chief-cornplanter.webp
