Great Short Hunt!

Had a couple hours to spare today so I went to an old park I have had my eye on. Sure enough, the dirt seemed original and I was pulling wheat after wheat. 7 wheats in about an hour until it started pouring. Dates are '15, '20, '35, '36, '45, '47D, '53D. Also found my first Buffalo! Was sure I would never find one because I usually mask nickel but this was in the hole with a wheat. A 1919-S Cleaned it up pretty good but I needed to find out the date Anyways I only covered an area of about 50x50 ft, I'm excited to get back there

looks like you got a good spot there. Better to clean the buffalo and have that nice date than just have no date. Those wheats look in good shape... must have been good soil there.

It was great, there was hardly any trash at all and I found very little clad...I'm going to try to get back when the park dries out...there's gotta be some silver in there.
