Did anyone make it out to the beach? If so, how did you do?

With a one week old in the house I'm not getting out to detect the beach for a while...I did sneak out yesterday for an hour but just found three wheaties. It was just nice to get out and swing the coil.

I went Sat. & Sun. Very disappointing. Maybe 5' waves, very spread out. No erosion. Maybe lost a little sand. We have a shot at another storm this weekend.

It looks like this weekend maybe a good one. I have not looked at tide charts yet but I may go down the shore Saturday afternoon. My daughter is cheerleading a football game in the morning but the family is free in the afternoon. So it may be time for a little road trip.
