Found this in the NIV Bible. It'd be a nice treasure worth a cool million I bet.

"So they gave Jacob all the foreign gods they had and the rings in their ears, and Jacob buried them under the oak at Shechem."

I have often dreamed of touring the middle east with my Minelab GPX 5000. Too bad it will never happen. Between government restrictions and antiquities laws - and the very real possibility of being shot to death, Israel, Syria, Iraq, Iran, just aint happening for us "regular Joe" metal detectors.
