✅ SOLVED Green Bottle with Japanese writing all around it

Does anyone know what this is? Could it be a flask? Or perhaps a perfume bottle? It has Japanese (or maybe Chinese) writing all around it. It's 5" tall and then the cap is another 1.5 inches. It could be something my dad brought back from Japan when there during the war. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
