Green Obsidian?

I almost paid $26.00 plus shipping for the 'mineral' as posted. Yes I find it beautiful however after my research true green obsidian doesn't exist. Apparently this might be green glass leftover from a steel mill?

Any comments?

Thanks

AF

Yours has air bubbles? Or are they flaws?

B

Obsidian is silica glass - depending on how much iron and/or magnesium is in it, the color will vary from a lighter green to black.

its awful pretty though Atticus (love that name by the way)
It may be slag, but its still beautiful. You gonna make something with it? Or is it something just to add to a collection?
