Just a quick shout to say hello. I've been a beachcomber since I could walk, its more a leisurely hobby when time allows....vacations. So, we found an interesting piece off the Atlantic coast of Florida, a fews years back and the coquina finally dried out and fell off revealing the entire object. Never knew what that stuff was called until I found myself here. Turned out to be an old nail, assuming from a shipwreck off the coast. Very old, hand forged and very, very cool! Anyhow, gonna be headed back this summer and who knows, maybe we'll get lucky again. At any rate, glad to have found this place and hope to share more in the future. Be well...Scotty
