Don't know about your budget but for an entry machine the Garrett Ace 250 seems to be popular and the Bounty Hunters to.. If your looking to stretch your dollar a used machine could be found, check the classifides on here and your local craigslist.. Welcome to the forum! I agree with JrMack, an ACE 250 may be a good start for you. Please remember, there are many entry level detectors and nothing beats researching the one that will suite your budget, hunting style and hunting conditions.
