I'm a pensioned-off schoolteacher who's 100% treasure seeker now. I'm way past metal detecting; using gravimeter, super Pulse Induction, and magnetometer. If you don't know what they are...you can't afford them. I can't do the work, so I let the technology do it for me. I've heard dozens of stories of great treasures, but I think the best ones are the simple dutch-ovens full of coins buried by an old sheep herder...four to six feet underground. I find that the serious treasure hunter keeps quiet about what he knows and what he's found...and I'm the same. But it's always good to gather a few compadres for when the job is really big or dangerous. And telling stories is part of the culture...right? Besides, I like my kind of people.
