Good morning! Just wanted to introduce myself. I'm living in Central Florida. I love hunting for things. It doesn't matter what category it falls under, there is just something about the hunt. We've taken the kids gem mining, mding, and fossil hunting. I do not own my own detector yet so I will be reading up on here as to what would be my best option. Although, it appears that once you really get involved, you can't own just one. I also have a special interest in shipwrecks.
Right now we are heavily involved in fossil hunting across FL. We are involved in a science based reality tv show about fossil hunting that premiered on PBS affliate WDSC15 this past March. It has been amazing what I have learned and the people we have met.
It's wonderful that this forum exist. You can find anything you want to know on here. I appreciate everyone sharing their knowledge and experiences.
