Greetings from Vermont!

Just wanted to introduce myself - as I'm a newbie from Vermont, purchased my first metal detector in October, Bounty Hunter Platinum, wish I had gotten it in early spring so I could have enjoyed going out in warmer weather! I am enjoying this site and looking at the "finds" that have been posted. I find it to be thrilling when the tones go off - and even though I haven't accumulated much, I think this is going to be an adventurous hobby. Has anyone had any good finds in the Green Mountain state?

Welcome from just down the road in Essex, VT. Just saw your post as I've not been on the site for awhile. Plenty of great stuff to find in Vermont. Permission sites/old fields/cellar holes my preference. Shoot me a PM come springtime if you'd like to get together at some point.
