i figured she was farther east.if native accounts are correct of her being storm tossed that weather would have been noticed near the near green bay area she left La Salle but he knew and it seems suspected nothing till he was back in Montreal of the loss.

i had due to native account of her fighting a storm figured sinking would have been farther east.
were a storm local or near the place she left La Salle near Green Bay why would they have left in it.
He had no idea there was a problem till he was back in Montreal.
her cargo headed east was fur. with La Salles debt there would be little gold aboard beyond a lucky sailors purse maybe.
