Groundhog, on my porch?

We get a fair number of creatures around my house, but I was surprised by this one. I never thought I would see a groundhog on my front porch. I was pretty far away when I took the picture with my phone, so unfortunately the quality isn't great.

That would be a shocker!

When my daughter was four, she came running in the house totally petrified! We asked her what was wrong? She said, " There's a MONSTER by my swing!!!"

We ran to check it out. You guessed it! Groundhog.

Lol! That's my nickname from hubby now because I keep digging up his yard.

That is cool. They do live and burrow on high ground. Have you checked around the side of the steps for a burrow?
