Do you mean a GTI 2500? That is the top of the line Garrett and the price would depend on its condition.

no, not the 2500. the 2000 was predecessor of the 2500. from what i'm told so far very similar to 2500 (less the backlight.) all info is appeciated....thanks...jb

I never had a 2000 but i have heard they were just as good as the 2500 every one that i heard from about them said the same as a 2500 and no complaints i know of....

i'd say "go for it" if the price is right, i just paid 650 bucks for the GTI 1500, i'm not sure what the differences are between the 1500 and the 2000 but i'm sure the 2000 is a great model. my 1500 has a backlight i'm surprised the 2000 didn't.
