GTI 2500 tips

I have bought this a few days ago. I have done the air-test; it wen well at air test; however, when I go to beach to try, it came out everything under sand having same value. Most of time, I will be using this at salt-water beach hunting; not under water; but, wet-beach only. I have heard that this is great machine; but, I need your input to best use this guy. I used to use AT PRO before this. Any tips & helps will be greatly appreciated.

Manual said, I should go Salt elimination with Auto Track; however, someone said that I need to go all metal mode with manual ground balance. Could you please give what the best value of
Treshold / Sensivitity/Frequency/Modes...etc..any tips that I should know for this detector; please feel free to let me know..
