GTI NON IMAGING COILS

I have a barely used Gti 2500 in the mail heading my way. I was wondering about the non imaging coils you can get for the GTI's. Excatly what is considered "Imaging" If I put a non imaging coil on the machine, Which functions on the display will not work? I suspect I would not have the target size on the screen. Will I have the depth? Will the machine still be able to run in any mode?

the only differance will be that the size feature wont work. everthing else will function normally.

The stock coils are calibrated to show the relative size of the target. If the display in imaging is to large or small it is not a coin. The none imaging coils won't work with the imaging feature.
