H E L P!!! New beach hound in need of advice

I am looking for the advice of ones who really know there detectors well... Thanks!

I am heading to New Zealand in the near future and would like to know which model detector would be best suited for ring hunting on beaches there. I may do a little land hunting as well but mostly beach. Has anyone on the site been there or could recommend leads to someone who has detected beaches there? If so that would even be better! I wish I knew a little more about the mineralization... I do know some areas have black sand. Ugh!

Any recommendations would be highly appreciated from all those who chime in!

....Most detectors should work there....I heard the beaches have a lot of black sand.....which in this case is from the black lava....so make sure that your detectors works good in black sand!

Any BBS or FBS Minelab. Like Sov Excal or safari or explora series.
Sea Hunter, Sand Shark, Infinium,ATX, BHID, (black sand may mess with the BHID)
