Someone hacked into this Colorado Department of Transportation portable, electronic variable message sign on southbound Highway 145 near Illium on Tuesday and changed the message to motorists. The sign had alerted drivers to delays related to rockfall mitigation work in the area earlier this week. CDOT Public Relations Manager Nancy Shanks said the sign was probably left unlocked.
