Had a fun day today! "Big Silver Ring"

Finally got out today after what seems like forever... found over $5 in clad, a US Navy medallion, a small brass makeup compact and a big sterling silver ring with Greek writing on it... can anybody translate the Greek writing for me?

maybe a bible passage? can u give a picture of the other part that includes the parts outside the main word, which i think is "Corinthians". my guess is the a looking character before that word and the two characters after the "s" looking character are numbers. My guess is the first character is either 1 (first) or 2 (second), denoting the book, and then chapter and verse.

Thanks, got it from my new favorite spot :-) its the second silver I found there the first was a 63 dime I've found over $25 there :-) going back tomorrow :-)
