I'm new at this, and this is my first post. Today, I went to 2 playgrounds here in Stockton Ca, and found 240 coins totalling $14.41, plus 1 small pinky gold ring, and an 18k pendant. Sorry I don't have a photo, but I'm sure in time I will get with the programme.

Welcome to Tnet. I know how hard it is to break 100 coins from a good park, so 240 is amazing

(if you did an 8 hour day without breaks than thats 1 coin every 2 minutes, not including the trash) Your not new at this, your an expert.

[Tell me about it. I spent most of my time on my knees. Included in the count were 136 Pennies. Most parks here have woodchips, and the swings, slides, and bars where kids hang upside down is where most coins are found. I use a Tesoro Lobo ST with a concentric 5.75" coil. When it sounds the object is right in middle of the coil, then by using my Garrett pinpointer you can locate the target real quick. I have only been Metal detecting 3 months now, and typically on a weekend, I would probably be out for 7-9 hours. ]

Thanks for the welcomes, and comments. I finally found the camera that the wife leaves in a different place each time Here is a photo of yesterdays finds. Hope it looks ok as I am not a camera expert.
