Had a nice long talk with Dell Winders today

I said in a recent post he was out of business. That is not exactly correct. He is not taking orders now because solar magnetic interference has been pretty bad lately. So from what I gathered he might get back into production when things settle down.

I hadn't talked with Dell for a couple years. His knowledge base on LRL's stretches back decades. He talked about working from an airplane and hitting areas from 350 miles away. He is not the one who told me they could hit the Denver mint from 350 miles. That was someone else. So that's two people who have told me this. He talked a lot about the electronic receivers they worked with. I sure got an earful. I know Dell and I have had some disagreements, but I sure feel blessed to have been able to learn from him.
