Got a best one time out total of 9 Indian heads today. 3 of em were in one hole. Check out the 75 and 69 they were stuck together and you can see some of the original color of the coins. Cool. I don't have any peroxide in the house to clean em up with. I'll go get some and when I clean em I'll post a pic of the nicer ones.

Sorry for the slideshow but I had too many pics. Jim

Hey Jim, nice haul! What is that larger coin in the middle of the last pic? Congrats on a good...er...great day!

Wow! thats some milestone. I love that quarter too. I managed to get out for awhile this evening, went to a place that I was actually given permission. Hunted the site of an old schoolhouse no longer there, lady said it was demolished when their house was built in early 70's. Every coin that I dug was a wheat, (7) or so I thought...one corroded bent penny was an IH, discovered when I washed it and was checking it out, could make out the shield on the back, no date....oh well congrats on the finds Jim. Awesome finds Jim, Got my blood up a bit now, I think I have mastered this beast of a machine well enough to start back on some of my old spots that I have been leaving alone till I had a bit more confidence in it. Its gonna take alot more swinging to get as good as you are with it, but I will keep trying. The 1875 looked to be the old man of that tribe of indians and they all looked like they should clean up well. Were they found all at one house? OK I am heading out the door right now as ya done flung an itch on me and I gotta scratch it lol

Hey Bob, the large coin is the Barber Quarter before it was cleaned up. It was a fun time out. Better than last week.

Hey Duane, sounds like your starting to hit a groove there. Old spots equal old finds. Another Indian for ya even though its bent and corroded it counts. You'll be pulling em left in right if ya keep hitting those old sites.

Yep Jack, the 75 is the oldest. I mistakenly typed 69 in my post above. The other indian is a 89. I hit another old church lot but this one produced good for me. Still more there I know but I'll wait a while before hitting her again. I believe someone cherry picked the silver outta the place and left me the deeper Indians. They missed that big honking silver quarter though. Hope ya find some oldies Jack.
