..or got it at face?

I got two gold plated biCentennials 1976s and thats it.

I'd like to ask, whats the most common/cheapest gold coin to buy/trade with my silver halves/dimes?

I saw some wisdoms (you know who you are :notworthy:) and decided not to trade silver with silver.

I have a gold plated 67 (maybe it's 66?) although it weighs a couple grams less than it should. Also when it hits a table it makes a solid clunk, not metallic sound. Like dropping a plastic 'slammer' from that pogs game. I asked a coin shop about it, they couldn't explain it either but they weren't interested in offering me anything for it. My second gold plated is a 73. I found it in a box, as opposed to the 67 was in the only coin machine bag I ever had. It has some dates stamped on the left and right above the lower inscriptions on the obverse. 196* and 1982 one of the left and right respectively. I searched those dates and came up with nothing btw.

I found a 14KT gold ring in the reject bin of a coin machine a few months back, melt value of about $200 bucks! No gold coins but I did read someone on here found a $5 gold US Commemorative coin this year.

HH,

I had the best slammer ever! I used a 1883 Morgan. I won so many cardboard discs with that bad boy!

I haven't found a gold coin, but I have traded for 1 with 40%ers I've found.

LMK what you've got- maybe we can work out a deal.

Got an AU+ Indian $5 I may be interested for the right trade.
