Had just a few minutes today..

Daughter's birthday today and my wife and I drove over to take her to lunch and sing "the song".
Since I had a detector in the car, I asked the lady my daughter is renting a room from, if I could play with my metal detector while we waited for my daughter. Had about 15 minutes, so tried the curb strip. Outlaw in hand, and first thing I dug was a '44 wheatie, then a couple beeps later and a '37 came up. Also got a couple pennies from the '60s and clad quarter...then the second, and nicest silver ring so far this year. No, it hadn't belonged to anyone living in the house.

Here's a pic of the ring & wheaties; need to do more curb strips.
