Had to order halves, so I got some dime boxes DREAM BOX INCLUDED!

So I have exhausted the halves in the area that are within my normal driving route. So I decided to pull the trigger on 2000 worth of dimes.

1- Skunk
2- '50
3- Skunk
4- Skunk
5- '60, '64
6- '52, '62
7- 2003 five pence ...
8- 19 Mercury dimes... 33 rosies..52 total!. Dream box for me!!!

Yep, my eyes lit up on the first roll that had 6 silvers. 3 were mercs. 52 silvers in the box. Thats a big score. Anyone else ever get a score like that?

lucky you! your math is a little misleading i thought in the original post you had 19 mercs and 14 rosies....33 silver total, 52 is great.....lucky dog you!

is that from a 250 or 500 dime box?

My best and only box that had more than a dozen in it had 98 keepers in it.

No mint marks on any of the Mercs? Some of the pre-1934 S and D are worth a fair amount even in well worn condition.

Anyone else ever get a score like that?

About a month ago I got two dime boxes ($500 total) that contained 86 keepers. 19 of them were mercs. One box had 49 keepers and the other had 37. Prior to this find, my best dime box ever was 6 keepers, all rosies.

I went back today and got another dime box from the same branch
4 Mercs- 7 rosies.
A great box again
