Had to share this dynamic specimen!

This rock was retrieved in a gold producing area that's all I'm saying about that. Anyhow, the colors and the geology of this rock is what intrigued me. I remember hearing that gold likes to present itself where the grain is abutting or perpendicular to the adjoining geology kind of a traffic back up where the rock kits a dead end. The color I see in the specimen is very interesting as well I took pics of it from all sides, and knocked off a corner of it with my hammer. Any opinions of what I am seeing here? I'm thinking mostly copper and iron with gold presenting in microscopic and nugget form well, here it is, please tell me if I should crush it or just keep it in the front yard and watch it rust!

Pardon, I like rocks, reminds me of . . sowbelly agate . . w/amethyst . . with scattered pyrite
nodules . . very similar to ore of Creede. CO.

I don't see any visible gold in your specimen but it's obviously mineralized.
Since it's from a gold producing area the chances are in favor of gold inclusions. Gold is known to be found in white, dirty, and rotten quartz, etc. so crush it and pan it then you will know for sure

If there's gold in it then get some more and do the same thing.
