half a buckle with cannon & crest close up pic

Got the picture problem solved with a new camera ,this was found at a site dating back to 1812 , the back has two partial hooks no marks ,the front has on the left some sort of crest and on the right a cannon and two rosets and the height is 2 5/8" and the width would have been around 3 1/2 " any help is greatly appreaciatted .
