Half a point?

Got a good rain last night, so today was another creek walk. Not sure if this is half a point or not, but it caught my eye and it does appear to have been something. As always, I could be wrong. Found in North Texas, Dallas County within a bunch of rocks and roots along the side of a creek.

looks like a peace of flint but not a point...

Also agree with material fragment, it looks like material used to make artifacts. I would check the area again; that's a good sign.

Piece of chert in a triangle shape, but not an artifact.

The last pic showing the cross section kills it. No knapping to a fine edge.
