Stopped at one of the banks that is out of my normal area and asked if they had any halves I could buy . They said that they didnt but the bag on their coin sorter had quite a few in it and asked if I would be interested in purchasing that. I said that would be fine and thank you for making the suggestion. The bag wasn't quite full but it had $723 worth of halves in it . Being as this was the first time I had ever looked through a bag from a bank coin machine I was very interested to see what my results would be. I ended up with 3 Canadian $2 pieces ,A Mexican $10 Diez Peso coin , a Bicentennial in AU condition and also a 1994 & 1987 that appears to be AU as well. 1454184762098.webp
Next on the wrap up follows 18 NIFC halves1454184945860.webp
As far as silver goes im happy to say I didnt get skunked . I ended up with 5 - 40% 1454185130429.webp
But my find of the day was my first ever Walker from CRH . A lovely lady from 1945 graced my presence today 1454185298070.webp1454185334510.webp

Good job. :icon_thumright:

Very rare is the bank that offers the bag off the coin counter. I have to beg and plead, usually to no avail.

The 1987 is NIFC as well, if you didn't know.

Lucky duck. I searched my first half dollar bag from a bank machine yesterday. The only highlight was a 1987P I needed for the folder. No silver I am sad to say.

I was not aware the 1987 was NIFC as I am relatively new to CRH . Thank you for the info

Gotta like the twoonoies.

Yes the 87 coins were in mint sets only.

I just learned about the 87's last week.

:coffee2: You're lucky that a bank would sell you a bag off the coin counting machine. I can't get any banks around here to sell a full bag let alone a partial bag. Congrats on getting a "Walker". Was it in the bag also? They have such a timeless lovely design.
