Half Dollar boxes dated December 0x, 2009.....updated!!

I just picked up 2 boxes. Stamped "CWI #82. December 0x, 2009. First roll had 1 40%er. Search will continue tonight..... Box #2 produced a single 1969-d...........back to reality....

I am from western NY and have been getting those same stamps on my boxes (CWI#82 and December 2009) for a couple of weeks now - must be a newer, older batch - if that makes sense. I have been getting some decent results in the last few - I hope you do well too!

I've gotten date stamped boxes before.. I got a couple April 2008 that were good boxes but all the date stamped ones after that were all skunks. I hope I don't get anymore date stamped ones. Guess it goes to show the difference in areas.

The boxes out here that I get are always date stamped. The ones dated after Black Friday should be fruitful.

Sounds like you found some good boxes!! Enders and silver in the first roll are usually a good thing, can't wait to see the results!

Box #1 yeilded 7 40%ers - (3-68-d, 4-69-d) AND 2 64's!! About $50 of silver!! My best box by far......previous best box was 2 40%ers.
Box #2 - starting right now!!

nice score! i sometimes get date stamped boxes from loomis banks, almost always skunks, for me brinks is the best of the worst haha. keep it up and hh!
