[Carolina Points]

Here are 3 points I found in 08, What is so neat about these points I found them on top of the Mtn. The picture on my profile. Way back when after the indians, settlers made a 9 hole golf course on top of this mtn. not many people know about. The only thing that is there know is just remains of old old buildings, a big rock pool, and a huge double sided fireplace. It is just amazing up there. While i was walking around, This is what I found. I will be taking the detector next time. I did Have permission to be there so that was not a problem.

Dfish I have always heard the quartz is the hardest material to knap, and that if you find a quartz point that you can guarantee that its authentic. It takes a very skilled indian to work with this material I think. A local archy at Wofford College compared it, Knapping quartz was like flying a fighter jet and any other material was like flying a hang glider. Lol lol thats what he said. Thanks for the comments.
