Halloween Hunt another celt and full groove axe

What a Halloween!!
We went back to logging road at seven this morning and hunted for five hours.Not ten feet from where I found monster celt yesterday I un earthed a black full groove axe that appears to have been resharpened several times.Aday after I found best celt ever I found my best ever axe. This site spooks me .Was it Halloween or did this dozer disturb a burial ground? Found another celt too. I can,t go back till tomorrow after work. Most everything we have found is Big artifacts. I,ve dreamed of days like these. Pinch me Am I still alive!!

Jeff, I'm telling you... Go to that road... and don't ever leave. It sounds a lot like our field... we've found almost 50 axes in about a 3 arce tract. KEEP ON THAT SPOT.

I thought of you yesterday on my way up from Louisville KY towards home in NE Ohio. I was passing all of these freshly plowed fields south of the river and thinking about how lucky you are to have such a rich area to hunt. I hoooked up two fields near Verona through a Colleague but it is a 5 hour drive for me from home. I will be hauling my boots along my next trip so if you see a guy in a field near 71 in dress clothes and a tie with work boots stomping around it will be me!
Great finds. I hope it only gets better for you.

I couldn,t go today,I am single dad of two. Both seem to have other plans for me tonite after work. lol Clocks get set back a hour Sat. nite,kinda puttin an end to my huntin except Sundays.I,ll find a way back up there!!

I,m heading back Sunday. Hope my buddy hasn,t found them all. lolI got him started hunting then he came by house and picked me up and showed me this site. He found a really big dovetail,celt,adena,sand a broken one ,the middle section of this point is three inches long and wide too,beautiful workmanship,it would have been a monster.

I,m heading out today for another look. The loggers are not working today.I,ll be able to look a few spots I couldn,t the other day.Wish me luck,I,m bound to run out of it soon. Wish I could find a dovetail as nice as the one my buddy found there.But I,m extremely happy with my finds!
