A single pocket of gold and silver at about 6 feet deep??

Also not only the shallow depth but 382 ounces of gold to the ton is the richest gold deposit I have ever heard of, usually a few grams per ton is very very rich!!

The richest ore I have ever heard of is 138 grams per metric ton in a mine in China that's 4.43+ ounces per ton

Interesting story. I find it funny when people speak in absolute terms. I’ve heard countless times: “The is absolutely no gold and silver in NY state”.

Not that it matters since they laws would be so stringent it wouldn’t be an economically viable venture anyway.

Makes me think about the fracking situation. PA is full steam ahead, NY is missing the boat. Same reservoir of oil, with one state reaping the benefits while the other is asleep at the wheel. Amazing what an imaginary line can do.

I live in Hamburg NY and find it almost impossible. I found the original article it was only published in the Philadelphia Inquirer and no where else.. The Buffalo News, you would think this would have been reported.... I really cant see anywhere in Hamburg this could have happened. 18 Mile Creek may hold trace gold, tiny flakes, real, real tiny gold flakes ....... FAKE NEWS
