Wednesdays's hunt.
I've hammered this place for about 3 or 4 years now, it's given me a lot of old coppers, as old as 1799, and a few silvers too including a 1851 3 cent silver, 1834 6 pence. Never much at any one time the stuff seems scattered out all over the place without any real hot spot, anyway it's close by so I decided to give it a go just to kill some time.
I state in the video that this might be my last hunt here, but given I got 3 old coins, and another bell I figure I'll go back again, as it may never mowed again, meaning this could be the last year it willl be huntable.
Anyway the 3 coins are 1856 Nova Scotia full 1 Penny, a 1861 NS 1/2 cent, and an 1888 Canada cent. and another crotal bell for the collectioin. The video is short at 2:45, and shows the large copper being live dug.
Hopefully now that the weather has changed for the better (cooler) I will get out some more...it's been a long while, haven't been on the forum much either.

Good luck in your fall season.
