Very recent finds all found in same vicinity of one another--lots of knapping evidence scattered about. Sorry the photos turned.

Let me know what yall think and educate me on what I believe to be hammer stones. All three appear to have places of repeated percussion and for that reason have caught my attention.

The first was found in a small spring. Just has that one area that exhibits repeated percussion.

The one below has the least amount of percussive evidence, but I tried to catch the contrast of the worked area. The rest of the edge around stone is smooth.

This one below caught my attention because of what appears to be obvious evidence of repeated percussion. Again, the only area on stone that exhibits repeated percussive wear.

Thanks.

I've heard the term before. Thanks for the reply.

If I were to bet on one it would be the last. I know it is hard to see in the photos provided, but the bashed end looks to be a bunch of garnet that has been bashed. More color in person.
