Hand Blown Glass Vase.... Can you read this?

So I just got my 1st piece of glass.... I've probably seen thousands out while picking but never bought one...

I found this yesterday and listened to my instincts and got it. I'm not very familiar with glass but the piece is signed and looks like it's numbered "07/654"

I've been looking online for hours but can't find anything on the signature..... Can anyone read this? Looks like it says " Guy Bennet" or something like that signed on the bottom.

The vase measures 7" tall x 8" wide and weighs a whopping 9 lbs, 9oz.

Is anyone familiar with this or know where I can take it to get checked out?

Any help would e greatly appreciated.

Try putting a piece of thin paper on top and rub with pencil lead, like a temple rubbing.

I just tried to take a rubbing but the etching wasn't deep enough to get anything... Went outside and took a few more pics with natural light..... Looks a little better but I still can't make out the name.

We have a famous glass artist here in Wa. by the name of ------- -----------. To my surprise I found a phone number for him and called it. He actually answered the phone. He took a look at your post, said nope that's not mine, that looks like it says Guy. He said he has met Guy and you should be able to google him. That being said, I tried to google Guy Bennett to no avail or maybe i didn't dig deep enough..

2screwed....Thank you for taking the time to look it up and call..... That's pretty cool he answered the phone and looked at it.......I'll start searching...Hopefully I'll find something on it.

The last name looks like "Benson" to me.
