It good start but need at least a brace for handle...

Sent from a spun out toilet paper tube (one ply)!

I'd recommend something with a bigger diameter for the handle then 3/4 if hunting the wetsand.
I tried using 3/4 before and it bent the first time out. I'd also recommend a flat stock ring inside or outside the bucket for added strength. One would be surprised how much flex the bucket gets if it's not reinforced. Even if it's heavy gaged aluminum with a full metal bucket.

Your handle will bend in my opinion...
Not knocking it...
But been down this road once or twice before...
Maybe even a "kick plate"
1 inch heavy wall for handle in alum...
In Stain... 3/4 HW...
Conduit sucks. :)... no offense.

Go to any metal supplier... go to "scrap" area... find 4 foot piece.
My suggestion.

PS> Conduit is actually made to bend.

Looks like some mid-evil armour. Deadly looking tip on that scoop. I agree with LRI..if your using that thing in deep wet sand, you'll need a beefier handle. Cool design though.

thanks for the input, I will work out a stronger handle / the basket is replaceable ,everything else is 316 SS metal/ I sure additional mods will be needed
