Harbor Command Badge

I guess this was made for a kid, but the pin on the back looks lethal. The badge is pot metal and pretty heavy. Also found 9 wheats, a tootsietoy Tbird, and a funky 70's medalion.

The badge is a toy promotional badge, circa 1957-1958 for a television program called Harbor Command. It should measure about 2 1/4 inches tall and have a bar pin on the back. It was made of cast metal.

Very interesting badge find up north!

Here's what I found out about it . . .

"Wendell Corey played Captain Ralph Baxter, an officer of the United States Coast Guard. This show aired in black and white from Oct. 11, 1957 to Jul. 4, 1958. The 2.25” large heavy white metal badge is accented in black and includes eagle, ship’s wheel, flag with anchor symbol along with the name of the program."
