This locator has a theory that where there are large caches of heavy metals in the ground there is a hardness and smoothness to the surface of the earth there. Look for nearby trees that have died prematurely due to the roots banking up into the hard dirt area. The roots of these trees are usually coming up from the ground in an effort to get away from the toxic dirt.
metals "leach, or sweat and over time the earth has a different look to it. No weeds is a sign.

Some of this is theory and the rest is educated guess.
I have another theory...here goes.
large caches were buried here in the SW and elsewhere in the hopes of digging it up someday. We have a site in mind that looks like it is from Drake and Raliegh and buried in the SW by way of SE Asian piracy.
Piracy is hard to determine and a global Coastguard was more like it in legal terms. Torture and other bad practices led to lack of ability in seafaring...overloaded and unseaworthy watercraft were easy targets.
We believe that infra-red photography can help to locate the larger deeper caches.
Let's take an early morning readout of a specific site and compare that to a late afternoon or early evening read.

The difference in heat absorbed should lead to good :dontknow: clues for digging.
Hoang Ho Consulting treasure/recycle div has some specific sites in mind. We will trade our expertise for your tech savvy on this....
