Hard to watch the road.

On our annual vacation in Charleston, driving from CT to Staunton VA today and all I could see along I-81 were fields just screaming to be hunted! I think my wife is sick of hearing me say “Wow, that looks like a great spot to hunt “ every 5 minutes. She said when I retire next year we can take a few extra days on the road so I can try to get a couple of permissions while she relaxes.

I’d love to show off my talent for finding flip tabs and bottle caps!

Oh, well, maybe someday.

My favorite place in the world along with Beaufort, SC. The first moment I went there, it felt like home. Unfortunately, the prices of houses around there dictate that I’m only “home “ about one week a year! Talk about history! Pre-revolution through the civil war. Just unbelievable.
