ok a few years back my brother told me about some carvings on a rock. long story short, so i went there and looked at it my self. it said Eureka gun club 1859. now its rite where an old town used 2 exist BUT the towns name was Straight and the town wasn't established until 50 or so years later, (after 1859) any idea's? thanx P.S. its in pennsylvania.
 

I found Eureka listed in a 1889 atlas in
Montgomery county with a population
of 125. No exact location.
