I bought this at a yard sale know nothing by about coins .Mel fisher grade 2 4 reals Lima mint with certificate with pic of the coin and Mel's signature along with other signatures wondering if it had any value. I went to Mel's site put in the number and it brought up some information.Any value here ?? been offered 300.00 for it is this a fair price?

I have seen the Atocha 4 reale coins go for $300 to $900 with grade 1 at the high end. It all depends on what someone is willing to pay for it.

Yes, a very nice score!

The grading is there on the receipt, so that is good. It is a little light, so perhaps you could provide an image of the coin, that may also help some with the valuation.
