have X-TERRA 70 and no depth

I have the standard and elliptical coil 5 * 10DD .However, no depth, and each coin under 5 inches as it provides iron .Is my error in the set of machines or machinery is weak.Look at that and I praise them for that I took x-terra 70, but when testing proved otherwise.

My friend also has a new X-Terra 70, so I'm curious.

Maybe there was iron close to it? My pals X-Terra can be fooled easily is there if Iron close by.

tell me how to tie x-terra 70 to find my Roman denarius of 5 inches, and when a deep, my test generally consists-notch hole in the ground, put denarius of 5 inches deep and warm hole, if you have do so and then answer

If it is dig-able ground outside I shall conduct my own tests with my buddy's help. And try a few different settings/targets etc.

Though many love to say we don't find coins in the air, I still think air tests are a good way to find possible defects. My X-Terra 70 at sensitivity 28, inside the house, gives a solid beep out to about 9 inches on most coins. HH, George (MN)

My brother had a similiar problem with his X-70 at first. It turned out that he had pushed the accept/reject while scanning coins and it wouldn't hardly make a squeak on coins. Why is your threshold set so high? Perhaps you should also consult page 44 of the manual and do a complete reset of your settings and start over.
