I found this today at an indoor flea market. This little very well made turned box is know as a piece of treen. I believe this is very old and it has very faint pencil writing on it. On the bottom it looks like in pencil a year of 1864? I got it for $3.50 + tax. I so much enjoy this little find. I think it will go in to my collection of old and wonderful things?. It stands 3-1/2 inches tall. I can't for sure say when it was made, so I guess I'll just see what some of you think?

This video will enlighten you on what treen is. I had to refresh myself on it as when I found it as I couldn't get beyond the word "tureen" so I got the Miller antique books out to find out what the true description of this is item called.
