Just got back from Hawaii after 5 days of intense digging. Did 6 separate digs in 5 different spots.
About half of the digs yielded nothing good, but it only takes one good one to make my whole trip worthwhile!
On the evening of the first day we had just such a dig. What started out as a seemingly futile thrash through the jungle ended up being the best Milk Pit I've ever dug.
My brother and I ended up pulling a total of 30 embossed Hawaiian milks from a variety of local dairies. One of the dairies well represented in our hoard was the relatively rare Ahuimanu Stock Farm.
I've always been more of a BIMAL guy, but I'm really starting to like milks now.
We also got in a bit of older digging later on that produce another 30+ bottles, including a very nice Benson, Smith & Company medicine.
I did another similar post on the Hawaii Finds site, but I'm not sure anybody goes there anymore.
