So a colliery is a coal mine...I have no clue what is going in here :)
 
Yes Kalmia Colliery was a Coal mine in the 19th century

"Smoll Stoof Cole" is : Small Stove Coal

"I Lote not lorge" is most likely : I Load not Large

Unless he was complaining he Loaded Large Nut Coal by Mistake.

Then it's I Load Nut, Large

He apparently Spelled it the way his Accent Sounded. Was probably very Thick PA Dutch accent
